RENNSTEIG

Cable-processing tools, crimping tools and metalworking hand tools

Manufacturer overview

RENNSTEIG's manufacturing roots date to 1959 in Altersbach, Germany. Its headquarters are now in Viernau, a district of Steinbach-Hallenberg. The company became an independent subsidiary of KNIPEX in 1991 and developed a strong specialization in cable-processing tools alongside its established metalworking hand tools.

The portfolio includes cutting, stripping and crimping equipment, as well as chisels, punches and extraction tools. Its cable-assembly products address applications in automotive manufacturing, aerospace and photovoltaic installations, where the correct connection geometry is central to the task. RENNSTEIG's distinctive position is the combination of traditional striking and metalworking tools with specialized connection technology. Dealers can therefore distinguish general maintenance items from tools specified for a particular terminal, cable or assembly process.
